Designer Outfit Rental Terms at Gem Fashion Studio

Gem Fashion Studio offers premium designer outfits on rent for weddings, receptions, engagements, festive celebrations, and special occasions. Our rental process allows customers to enjoy stylish designer wear without purchasing expensive outfits.

Before booking a designer lehenga, gown, saree, or ethnic outfit on rent, customers should review our rental return, cancellation, and refund guidelines to ensure a smooth experience.

Rental Outfit Return Policy

• Rented outfits must be returned within the agreed rental period mentioned during booking.
• Customers must return the outfit in the same condition as received.
• All accessories provided with the outfit must be returned along with the rental outfit.
• Late returns may result in additional rental charges.

Security Deposit Deduction Policy for Late Returns

A security deposit is collected at the time of booking. The deduction from the security deposit will depend on the delay in returning the rented outfit:

• Return within 1–3 days after the due date: 10% of the security deposit will be deducted.
• Return within 3–7 days after the due date: 20% of the security deposit will be deducted.
• Return after 7 days from the due date: 50% of the security deposit will be deducted.

The remaining eligible security deposit amount will be refunded to the customer after inspection and confirmation.

Security Deposit Refund Timeline

• After the rented outfit is returned and successfully inspected, the refundable security deposit amount will be processed.
• The security deposit will be refunded within 3 working banking days after the return and verification process.
• The refund will be credited through the original payment method or agreed payment mode.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Customers can request cancellation before the scheduled rental date.
• Refund eligibility depends on the cancellation time and booking preparation status.
• If the outfit has already been prepared, altered, packed, or dispatched, cancellation charges may apply.
• No refund will be issued after the outfit has been delivered or used.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be provided in the following cases:

• The wrong outfit is delivered by Gem Fashion Studio.
• The outfit has major damage or quality issues before use.
• The booking qualifies under our cancellation terms.

Refunds are not applicable in the following cases:

• Change of mind after booking.
• Incorrect measurements provided by the customer.
• Minor colour differences due to lighting or screen settings.
• The customer does not use the outfit after delivery.

Damaged or Lost Rental Items

Customers are responsible for the rented outfit during the rental period.

Additional charges may apply for:

• Damage beyond normal wear and tear.
• Permanent stains.
• Missing accessories.
• Loss or non-return of the rented outfit.

Charges will depend on the applicable repair, cleaning, or replacement costs.
